Optimal Value
The optimal value is found in factored form by doing the following steps. The first step is to find the axis of symmetry is you would have to known the x-intercepts. Once you have found the x-intercepts you would put into this formula (x = ((r+s) / 2) to find the optimal value. After you have found the x you would sub it into the whole factored form equation to find the axis of symmetry.

Since we have already found out the axis of symmetry we just have to plug it in to the equation.
y=(3-8)(3+2)
y=(-5)(5)
y=-25
